The maker
Minimalist Made began with a simple act of love. When my fiancée's beautiful artwork needed framing and the cost was prohibitive, I decided to learn how to do it myself. That first step opened a door — from picture frames to bespoke wall panelling, coffee tables, dining tables, and eventually the handcrafted hardwood boards that Minimalist Made is known for today.
What drives me is the desire to create beautiful, functional pieces that people across the world have and use in their homes every day. Every board is made to order in a small workshop in Oxfordshire, individually handcrafted from premium hardwoods, finished with food safe mineral oil and beeswax, and laser engraved with the Minimalist Made mark.
